Non-conjugated and π-conjugated functional ligands on semiconductive quantum dots
Source abstract
Abstract
Abstract Semiconductive quantum dots are widely used in biological fields and optoelectronic devices due to their excellent optical properties, including continuously tunable full-spectrum luminescence , high fluorescence intensity and superior optical stability. Thus far, a lot of studies have been carried out on various ligand-modified semiconductive quantum dots and their related applications. The modification of organic functional molecules onto these quantum dots can efficiently promote the optimization of optoelectronic properties in the leading hybrid quantum dots. Thus, in this short review, we focus on the functional ligands, which are classified into non-conjugated molecules and π-conjugated molecules, for briefly summarizing their corresponding characteristics in the hybrid quantum dots.
