Crystal structures and physical properties of new Ni complexes with dihydro-TTF dithiolato
Source abstract
Abstract
We have succeeded in synthesizing new neutral Ni complexes with dithiolato ligands, Ni(dhdt) 2 (dhdt 2- = 4,5-dihydrotetrathiafulvalene-4,5-dithiolato), Ni(dtdt) 2 (dtdt 2- = 1,3-dithian-2-ylidene-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dithiolato), which are semiconductors with room temperature conductivities of 8.4×10 -2 and 1.8×10 -5 S cm -1 , respectively. Crystal structural analysis of Ni(dtdt) 2 revealed that two-dimensional interaction through sulfur contacts exists.
