Abstract

Grain refinement in V10Cr15Mn5Fe35Co10Ni25 high-entropy alloy during high-pressure torsion occurs through different deformation mechanisms based on the initial grain size, as described by Hyoung Seop Kim and co-workers in the article number 1900587. Dislocation activity, combination of deformation twinning and dislocations lead to grain refinement in fine- and coarse-grained microstructures, respectively.
