The synergistic effect of nano Y2O3/CeO2 and nano Al2O3/SiO2 on the properties of vitrified bond and vitrified bond CBN composites
Source abstract
Abstract
In this paper, the synergistic effect of conventional nano materials (nano Al 2 O 3 /SiO 2 ) and nano rare earth oxides (nano Y 2 O 3 /CeO 2 ) on the properties of vitrified bond is studied, which can effectively improve the grinding performance of vitrified bond grinding wheel. The experimental results show that the synergistic action of the two nano materials can not only effectively improve the fluidity and reduce the refractoriness of the vitrified, but also perform well in the aspects of toughening, reinforcing and improving the crystallinity of the vitrified bond, which is suitable for manufacturing CBN grinding wheel .
