Self‐Supported Electrocatalysts for Practical Water Electrolysis (Adv. Energy Mater. 39/2021)
Source abstract
Abstract
Industrial Hydrogen Production In article number 2102074, Hongyuan Yang, Matthias Driess, and Prashanth W. Menezes comprehensively discuss the design and fabrication strategy for self-supported electrocatalysts with an aim of water electrolysis for industrial hydrogen production. The most promising electrocatalysts are further overviewed from the aspects of all-pH electrolyte capacity, seawater electrolysis, overall water splitting, large current density, and long-term durability along with a brief and concise perspective.
