Abstract

Tunable nanoporous network polymer nanocomposites show size-selective ion transfer in DSCs (dye-sensitized solar cells), as demonstrated by Taiho Park and co-workers on page 184. The I3 - produced by the regeneration reaction could be diffused away through the pores to the counter electrode. The selective permeability of the porous layer and the direction of I3 - diffusion acted together to increase the performance of the DSCs.
