Abstract

The field of bioelectronics is rapidly growing in scope and popularity, attracting significant interest from diverse research communities due to its inherently interdisciplinary nature. Bioelectronics broadly addresses the interface between biological systems and electronics, covering topics including, but not limited to, biosensors, implantable devices, wearable and epidermal electronics, electrophysiology, and electronic therapies, to name a few. Biological processes can now be controlled, measured, and even stimulated through the use of electronic circuitry, opening up avenues for fundamental discoveries as well as real-world applications in the biomedical and healthcare sectors.
