Prediction model for rutting of asphalt concrete pavement considering temperature influence
Source abstract
Abstract
This study, based on Perzyna's visco-plastic theory, proposes a new elastic-viscoplastic constitutive model. This model accurately predicts the rutting deformation of asphalt concrete pavement under various temperatures and traffic load conditions through the time-temperature superposition principle. The predictions of the model are in good agreement with experimental data, providing strong scientific support for the design and maintenance of asphalt pavements.
