Design and Analysis of High-power Permanent Magnet Direct Drive Electric Drum Magnetic Circuit
Source abstract
Abstract
In order to improve the transport performance of the coal mine belt conveyor, enhance the power and efficiency of the direct drive drum, and reduce the energy consumption of the drum, this paper takes the 560 kW high power permanent magnet direct drive drum as the research goal to design the magnetic circuit. The no-load characteristics and load characteristics of permanent magnet direct drive electric drum were studied by ANSYS/Maxwell modeling and prototype test. The results show that the tooth groove torque of the high power permanent magnet direct drive electric drum designed in this paper is lower than 2 % of the rated torque, the torque fluctuation is small, and the running stability is high. High power permanent magnet direct drive electric drum efficiency is greater than 95 %, power factor is greater than 0.98, and can maintain high efficiency and high power factor operation within the rated working range; Maxwell performance simulation is basically consistent with the dynamic characteristic rule of permanent magnet roller obtained from prototype test, which can meet the actual working requirements of coal mine belt conveyor and has high application value.
