Abstract
Back cover image: High-entropy alloy (HEA) catalysts have attracted widespread attention as emerging catalysts owing to their multielement composition and high entropy structure, which are particularly attractive for multistep reactions with a range of intermediates. In the article number 10.1002/cey2.228, Yu et al. summarize the recent advances in the HEA catalysts, both in the nanoparticles and highly porous bulk form, and highlight their applications in C and N looping reactions, aiming to provide a focused view on how to utilize these intrinsically complex catalysts and propose remaining challenges and future directions in this field toward energy-saving catalysis and carbon neutrality.
