Abstract
Back cover image: Metalloporphyrin-like single-atom catalysts (SACs) have been regarded as the most promising alternatives to the commercial Pt/C due to their good activity and selectivity in oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). However, it is still a challenge to establish an efficient synthetic method to precisely control and synthesize the SACs of pyrrole-type Metal-N4 sites with excellent ORR activity at universal pH values. In article number 10.1002/cey2.135, Yong Hu et al. design and fabricate the ultrathin carbon nanosheets supported Mn SACs with precise pyrrole-type Mn-N4 (PT-MnN4) configuration through biomimetic-enzyme-induced strategy. The as-prepared PT-MnN4 SACs exhibit outstanding ORR activity at full pH range. Furthermore, the assembled zinc-air battery using the PT-MnN4 SACs as air cathode achieves a high peak power density and long-term stability.
