PREPARATION OF COMPOSTITE ELECTRODE MATERIALS CRAPHITE/TiC AND GRAPHITE/TiB2

The composite materials Graphite/Tic and Graphite/TiB2 were prepared in different kinds of molten salt media. Experimental results show that the rate of the synthesis reaction is mainly controlled by the ion diffusing through the product shell. According to the results of Scanning Elctronic Microscopy(SEM), the product layer adheres solidlys to the graphite substrate, even though the product layer is not uniform enough.
