Abstract

Modern tribosynergetic approaches are used to analyze and discover experimentally cases of the formation of secondary structures when using powders of some non-ferrous metals to fill polyurethane. It is found that all elements that are present in the tribocontact zone participate in the formation of secondary structures. These elements are supplied from the polyurethane specimen material, steel counterbody, and lubricant. The degree of development of the secondary structures depends on the elements involved in the process of their formation, as well as the severity and duration of the friction process. Attempts are made to find the dependence of the composition of the structures on the tribocontact intensity.
