Assessment of elastic behavior of nanometric coatings with static force spectroscopy
Source abstract
Abstract
The local elastic properties of fine coatings are assessed with the method of static force spectroscopy using contact deformation of laminar systems. The values of the local modulus of elasticity of the hydroxyapatite coating 20–25 nm thick are obtained in response to the indenter penetration depth. An assumption is made of the gradient change of the modulus of elasticity of the fine layer through depth.
