Dilatometría de arcillas refractarias argentinas
Source abstract
Abstract
EnglishThe dilatometric behaviour of some argentini refractory clays weis determined in order to identify the prevailing mineralogical species as well as impurities (quartz, muscovite-illite and montmorillonite). The dilatometric curves found in experiments perfomed between room temperature and 1.500° C, show temperature ranges within volumetric changes takes place. The interpretation of those dilatograms enables programming optimum fire curves far clays or their mixtures in order to obtain well den-sified chamote or silico-aluminous refractaries.
