Constitución de vidrios de borofosfatos alcalinos

José Luis Oteo Mazo, José M. Fernández Navarro

Abstract

EnglishStarting from glass with a composition of 65 mol % PoQ-., 35 mol % R^O (R = Li, Na and K) and maintainirig the molar proportion of alkaline oxide constant, three series of glasses were prepared in which the P2O3 loas progressively replaced by B^O^. The constitution of all the glasses was studied by paper chromatography and by infrared spectroscopy. From the results obtained, it is deduced that growing amounts of BzO;^ give rise to a successive degradation of structural groups constituting the binary phosphate glasses.
