Abstract

• Design of Experiment and PCA combined to study active fiber lasers. • The influence of the adjustable parameters on the cleaning process was investigated. • Repetition rate, pulse duration, power and scan speed interactions were explored. • Key parameters differ for organic (strappo glue) and inorganic (limewash) removal.
