Structural modulation in bismuth cuprate superconductor observed by X-ray reciprocal space mapping

Reciprocal space mapping was performed on epitaxial bismuth cuprate superconducting film using X-ray diffraction methods with high-resolution diffractometer. Epitaxial film showed asymmetric intensity distribution of satellite peaks derived from structural modulation. A sawtooth function was applied as a modulation wave to give the crystal model, and reciprocal space mapping simulated on the crystal model showed good agreement with experimental results.
