Cover Feature: Metal−Organic Frameworks for High‐Energy Lithium Batteries with Enhanced Safety: Recent Progress and Future Perspectives (Batteries & Supercaps 7/2019)
Source abstract
Abstract
The Cover Feature illustrates that metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) enable high-energy lithium batteries to serve as a clean power source to propel future electric vehicles. Benefiting from their tunable structure and functionalities, MOF-based materials have great potential to enhance the energy density and safety of lithium batteries. The cover artwork is provided by the group of Prof. Min-Kyu Song in the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Washington State University.
