Abstract

In atomization dust removal technology, the fine water mist generated by a gas-liquid two-phase flow nozzle can effectively enhance the sedimentation efficiency of atmospheric particulate matter. To optimize the performance of the nozzle and shorten the equipment development cycle, the external-mixing gas-liquid two-phase flow nozzle was selected as the research object in this study, and a droplet atomization performance testing platform based on high-speed cameras and a laser droplet size analyzer was constructed. First, using the single-factor control variable method, the effects of the liquid flow rate, gas flow rate, liquid aperture diameter, and gas aperture outer diameter on the atomization cone angle, spray range, and droplet size were analyzed. Then, through orthogonal experiments, multiparameter, multiobjective nozzle design optimization was carried out. Through analysis of variance, matrix analysis, and a design of experiments, it was determined that the influence sequence of the factors on the comprehensive droplet atomization performance was as follows: liquid flow rate > gas aperture outer diameter > gas flow rate > liquid aperture diameter. Finally, the optimal parameter combination was obtained, providing an important basis for the design optimization of external-mixing gas-liquid two-phase flow nozzles.
