IR Naked but Visibly Clothed
Source abstract
Abstract
In this issue of Joule, the fabrication and characterization of colored, visually opaque, but IR-transparent textiles are reported by the research groups of Yi Cui and Shanhui Fan. Coloration is achieved by imbedding inorganic pigment nanoparticles into IR-transparent polyethylene fibers.
