Growth and properties of Cu- and Ag-Doped PbI2 crystals
Source abstract
Abstract
This paper examines the influence of dopant (Cu and Ag) concentration and source temperature on the vapor phase growth of lead diiodide crystals in a closed system in the presence of excess iodine and on the properties of the crystals. The effect of copper doping on the low-temperature (T = 5 K) photoluminescence spectrum of PbI2 is analyzed.
