Magnetization‐Induced Scattering Evolutions for Nonreciprocal Scatterers (Advanced Optical Materials 31/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
Electromagnetic Scattering For a reciprocal scatterer of arbitrary shape and composition, if the radiation polarizations of its quasi-normal modes are identical along the direction opposite to the incidence, then both intensity and polarization distributions of scattering remain invariant, regardless of varying incident polarizations. This invariance arises from the polarization-independent geometric phase and reciprocity-principles that break down in nonreciprocal magneto-optical structures. More details can be found in the Research Article by Jianfa Zhang, Wei Liu, and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/adom.202500347).
