Anode‐Patterned Monorail‐Structure Fiber‐Based Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes with Long Lifetime and High Performance for Truly Wearable Displays (Advanced Optical Materials 13/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Fiber-based organic light-emitting diodes suffer from driving stability due to non-uniform thin film formation when fabricated in a traditional vacuum-based process. In article number 2203130, Kyung Cheol Choi and co-workers introduce a novel structure of fiber-based organic light-emitting diodes in which the bottom electrode, the anode, is patterned in the center of the fiber like a monorail. This work demonstrates the possibility of realizing a high-reliability wearable display by showing excellent operating lifetime performance.
