Infection Diagnostics: Fiber‐Optic SERS Probes Fabricated Using Two‐Photon Polymerization For Rapid Detection of Bacteria (Advanced Optical Materials 9/2020)
Source abstract
Abstract
Two-photon polymerization (2PP) enables simple, precise, and reproducible fabrication of microstructures on optical fiber tips for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). In article number 1901934, Alex J. Thompson, Guang-Zhong Yang and co-workers demonstrate an efficient and reliable method to produce miniature SERS-on-a-tip probes. These SERS-on-a-tip probes facilitate remote and rapid detection of un-labelled live bacteria, and thus offer promise for in vivo infection diagnosis in the future.
