Colored, Covert Infrared Display through Hybrid Planar‐Plasmonic Cavities (Advanced Optical Materials 17/2021)
Source abstract
Abstract
A colored, covert infrared display is proposed by Young Min Song and co-workers in article number 2100429. The proposed structure is designed to implement multispectral visible/infrared resonances based on hybrid planar-plasmonic cavities (HPPC). The authors present a hybrid photonic structure that shows visible and thermally encoded data simultaneously based on ultra-thin resonators and micro-hole patterns. HPPC will be applied as an optical secure label without compromising packaging aesthetics with hidden thermally encoded information.
