Lithography: Plasmonically Enhanced Vibrational Biospectroscopy Using Low‐Cost Infrared Antenna Arrays by Nanostencil Lithography (Advanced Optical Materials 11/2013)
Source abstract
Abstract
H. Altug and co-workers demonstrate how lowcost nanostencil lithography enables the manufacturing of engineered and precisely arrayed optical nanoantennas for use in plasmonically enhanced infrared vibrational biospectroscopy. Nanofabricated antenna arrays with nanoparticle clusters, shown on page 798, are used for the reliable and sensitive detection of immunologically important proteins and antibody assays. This work demonstrates the potential of nanostencil lithography to manufacture low-cost spectroscopy toolkits for medical and pharmaceutical applications.
