Controlling the Energy Relaxation: Organic Doping in AIEgen Nanoparticles for Highly Enhanced Intravital Two‐Photon Imaging (Advanced Optical Materials 13/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 2300255, Yuanyuan Shen, Zhourui Xu, Gaixia Xu, and colleagues develop an organic doping method to boost the two-photon action cross-section of aggregation-induced emission luminogens (AIEgens) by providing a hydrophobic and rigid nano-environment. The prepared AIEgens nanoparticles were used to image the brain vasculature of a mouse. This strategy can be widely applied for weakly emissive AIEgens without the need for any troublesome organic synthesis techniques.
