Polarization‐Sensitive Photodetectors Based on Directionally Oriented Organic Bulk‐Heterojunctions (Advanced Optical Materials 7/2022)
Source abstract
Abstract
Directional co-crystallization of semiconducting polymers with small-molecular ‘solid’ solvents can yield highly oriented microstructures for use as active layers in high-performance polarized photodetectors, as reported by Aleksandr Perevedentsev, Gerardo Hernandez-Sosa and co-workers in article number 2102397. Adjustments of this versatile processing approach can also produce the beautiful branched structures shown in the cover image.
