Abstract

In article number 1800592 by Xiangang Luo and co-workers, a field-of-view expanding methodology of metalens is presented by exploiting the perfect transformation from rotational symmetry of spherical topology to transversal symmetry of planar topology. Based on this methodology, wide-angle beam steering beyond 120° × 120° with high efficiency and directionality is realized by transversally shifting a feeding source in the focus plane of the metalens.
