Two‐Component Aggregation‐Induced Emission: Two‐Component Aggregation‐Induced Emission Materials: Tunable One/Two‐Photon Luminescence and Stimuli‐Responsive Switches by Co‐Crystal Formation (Advanced Optical Materials 19/2018)
Source abstract
Abstract
The typical aggregation-induced emissive (AIE) systems refer to high-efficient solid-state emission upon molecular stacking for single-component systems. Here, Dongpeng Yan's group (see article number 1800445) developed two-component AIE assemblies based on the formation of co-crystals of (naphthylvinyl)pyridine (NP) and three co-formers. NP-based co-crystals exhibit a tunable and high fluorescence as well as luminescent switching in response to external stimuli, which would extend the scope for studying AIE materials.
