Abstract

On page 756, F. Rotermund, O.-P. Kwon, and co-workers describe organic electro-optic crystals based on a new acentric core structure OHQ provide optimal molecular packing, which maximizes the electro-optic response and allows intense broadband THz generation with a THz generation efficiency over 30 times higher than the widely used inorganic ZnTe.
