Disordered Nanocomposite Islands for Nanospeckle Illumination Microscopy in Wide‐Field Super‐Resolution Imaging (Advanced Optical Materials 15/2021)
Source abstract
Abstract
This cover image outlines super-resolution microscopy through localized near-field nanospeckles generated on a random nanoisland substrate (see article number 2100211 by Hajun Yoo, Hongki Lee and co-workers). Azimuthal scanning illumination was performed for sampling that satisfies the homogeneity constraint of reconstruction algorithm. In this way, nanospeckles excited by illumination scanning on mass-produced random nanoislands improve the imaging resolution by more than three times compared to the diffraction-limited system.
