Abstract
Thermally Reversible On-Off Switching of Aggregation-Induced Emission via LCST Phase Transition of Ionic Liquids in Water In article number 2301197, Takahiro Ichikawa and co-workers achieve on-off switching of aggregation-induced emission (AIE) in water by designing an ionic liquid composed of phosphonium cations and a tetraphenylethene-derived anion. The AIE is induced by the formation of ionic liquid microdroplets in water due to its ability to undergo a lower critical solution temperature phase transition.
