Fluorescence Enhancement by Photonic Crystal Structure: Universal Fluorescence Enhancement Substrate Based on Multiple Heterostructure Photonic Crystal with Super‐Wide Stopband and Highly Sensitive Cr(VI) Detecting Performance (Advanced Optical Materials 11/2018)
Source abstract
Abstract
A novel multiple heterostructure photonic crystal (MHPC) structure with stopbands overlapping and broadening was demonstrated by Shengyang Tao and co-workers (see article number 1701344). The MHPC with a super-wide stopband can simultaneously overlap the excitation and emission wavelength of most fluorescent media and achieve universal fluorescence enhancement, indicating its potential to serve as a fluorescence enhancement sensing platform for the accurate detection of Cr(VI) down to 0.2 ppb.
