Advanced Optical Materials· Volume 1· Issue 3

Abstract

Babinet metamaterials exhibit higher transmission efficiencies at lower frequencies than traditional extraordinary-optical-transmission designs and provide an additional parameter for the creation of more efficient aperture structures, which may be useful for future applications in sensing and energy harvesting.
