Multistimuli‐responsive White Luminescent Fluids Using Hybrid Lanthanide Metal–Coordinate Complex Probes
Source abstract
Abstract
Intense white luminescence in aqueous solution is achieved via coordination of mixed lanthanide ions with non-substituted 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine. Chromic properties of the lanthanide hybrid molecular solutions are highly responsive to stimuli, such as changes in solvent composition, pH, temperature, anion binding, and mechanical force due to the dynamic Ln(III) coordination bonds.
