Wireless Printed Large‐Area Sensors for Continuous Structural Health Monitoring (Adv. Mater. Technol. 5/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
Structural Health Monitoring In article number 2401782, Yasser Khan, Sifat Muin, and co-workers introduce a hybrid strain sensor for structural health monitoring using 3D direct-write printing. The sensor tape features dual-axis strain mapping, temperature correction, and wireless communication. Its low-cost, on-the-fly design optimization offers a novel solution for continuous, real-time monitoring of large-scale infrastructure under dynamic conditions.
