Abstract

Glaucoma Implants In article number 2301686, Jaap M.J. den Toonder and co-workers introduce a novel glaucoma implant–minimally invasive, polymeric, and potentially biodegradable. Made of a unique thermoplastic material using replica molding, this device offers a solution to common postoperative complications associated with rigid metallic implants used in glaucoma filtration surgery. The implant's potential biodegradability after implantation introduces a promising approach to glaucoma management.
