Abstract

Joint Motion Energy Harvesting In article number 2301172, Zisheng Xu, Shiju E, and co-workers describe a novel approach to harvest joint motion energy by a hierarchical charge-boosting structure design (ACENG-DEG). The ACENG-DEG, utilizing ion hydrogel electrodes and an electret nanogenerator, exhibits remarkable stretchability and a high energy conversion efficient through a stretch-based mechanism. With only 37 cycles, the device reaches a high voltage of 1.18 kV and generates an ultrahigh output charge of 1.9 μC per cycle.
