3D‐Printed Patient‐Specific Circles of Willis with an Intracranial Aneurysm and their Application to Neurointerventional Endovascular Simulation (Adv. Mater. Technol. 15/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
3D Bioprinting In article number 2201783, Je Hoon Oh and co-workers present a patient-specific cerebrovascular replica including a cerebral aneurysm, with realistic dimensions and elasticity, as well as an in-house neurointerventional endovascular simulator. This innovative combination enables the training of less-experienced neurosurgeons and provides a practical and reliable platform for simulating endovascular procedures to improve the clinical outcomes.
