Assistive Robot Systems: Humanoid Robot Actuation through Precise Chemical Sensing Signals (Adv. Mater. Technol. 11/2019)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 1900570, Woo Soo Kim and co-workers have developed a unique sensing robot platform to demonstrate humanoid finger motion actuated by chemical sensing. The actuation is triggered by precise chemical sensing with the 3D-printed ion selective membranes, which can be communicated with integrated wireless RF sensors. The robot body as well as the sensing materials are 3D-printed with biocompatible materials.
