Abstract

In article number 1800489, Cunjiang Yu and co-workers report a biaxially stretchable Si structure with excellent stretchability and areal fill factor, which is created based on bonding serpentine shaped thin Si structures on a pre-strained elastomer substrate. This frontispiece illustrates the stretchable Si in thin open mesh configuration bonded on an elastomer with concurrent out-of-plane deformations.
