Microswimmers: Artificial Acousto‐Magnetic Soft Microswimmers (Adv. Mater. Technol. 7/2017)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 1700050, Daniel Ahmed and co-workers report that artificial microswimmers capable of controlled motion at the small scale can create exciting opportunities for applications in targeted drug delivery and non-invasive microsurgery. The cover image illustrates soft microswimmers that use a combination of acoustic and magnetic fields to demonstrate motion with precise maneuverability in a blood vessel.
