Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 2100049, Fatih Inci and colleagues comprehensively review the multifaceted potential of microfluidics in point-of-care diagnostics. The first aspect introduces umpteen types of materials in the fabrication. The second facet provides viable routes to integrate multi-sensing modalities. The last section discusses various applications in diagnostics and the pros-and-cons of microfluidics and point-of-care systems to guide their roadmaps in medicine.
