Abstract

In article number 1600270, Qi-Dai Chen and co-workers demonstrate a flexible and facile integration method for robust SERS substrates inside microfluidic channels by femtosecond laser induced co-reduction process of silver and palladium. Because the as-formed Ag-Pd alloy nanostructure is capable of protecting itself from rapid oxidation, this method could enable the creation of a stable on-chip SERS detection device with long life-time.
