Dynamic Fluid‐Assisted Continuous Multimaterial 3D Printing for Seamless Gradient Structures (Adv. Mater. Technol. 15/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
Functionally Gradient Materials In article number 2500621, Xiangfan Chen and co-workers develop dynamic fluid-assisted micro continuous liquid interface production (DF-µCLIP), a high-speed continuous 3D printing platform that enables real-time material switching for multi-material and gradient structures. Unlike conventional stereolithography, DF-µCLIP uses dynamic fluid control in a polymerization-free “dead zone” to allow seamless transitions. This approach opens new possibilities for fabricating functionally graded materials for diverse applications.
