Abstract

Abstract Triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) with great potential in the field of energy collection and self‐powered sensing have attracted great attention. However, most of the TENGs are limited by their unsatisfactory electrical output performance and mechanical properties in utilized as wearable and flexible microelectronic devices. Herein, a flexible single‐electrode triboelectric nanogenerator composed of bismuthene (Bi‐ene) nanosheets embedded in a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) film is proposed. The Bi‐ene nanosheets embedded in the PDMS film act as micro‐capacitors, which enable the Bi‐ene@PDMS film to withstand high voltage and store more electrical energy. As a result, the Bi‐ene@PDMS based TENG exhibits 26 times more power density than that of the pure PDMS based TENG at the optimum Bi‐ene content. Moreover, the prepared TENG based e‐skin can meet the practical needs of power supply, motion sensing, and tactile sensing. The results can provide fundamental insights for the design of high‐performance flexible TENG.
