Abstract

Volumetric Bioprinting Tomographic light fields enable the photopatterning of bioactive proteins and morphogens in 3D, across centimeter-scale, printed hydrogel construct. In article number 2300026, Riccardo Levato and co-workers report the development of volumetric bioprinting, not only as a manufacturing technology, but also to draw and imprint gradients and patterns of growth factors in any custom-designed geometry. This technology has implication in tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, developmental biology models and 4D (bio)printing. Image credit: Daimon J. Hall
