Abstract

Nanoporous Gold Films In article number 2300212, Suck Won Hong, Dongyun Lee, and colleagues report a simple process for manufacturing hierarchically-wrinkled nanoporous gold films with reconfigurable architecture in the microstructured array for use in surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates. The SERS-active substrates with the multilayered overlapping features of numerous nanoscale cracks in the microscale wrinkles can serve as functional materials for biomolecule-detecting applications, such as DNA hybridization.
